The strip loin, also known as the New York strip steak, is best known for its use as a tender steak. However, it can also be cooked whole as a roast. When the strip loin is slow-cooked, it can be finished in around 30 minutes — much faster than a traditional roast! Ideal when prepared with a delicious rub and presented on your daytime menus when service may be more informal.
